The Humane Society Of Central Oregon Foster Program is a group of families who take animals into their home that are not adoptable when they arrive at the shelter. Some of these animals are too young, some need to be socialized, some need to recuperate from illness or injury….all of them are offered a second chance by devoted volunteers who nurture them until they are ready for their forever home. |

My name is Judy Niedzwiecke (pronounced Neswick). I have been fostering for H.S.C.O. for 15 years. I have been coordinating the program since January of 2005. I am a volunteer. I work out of my home and am seldom at the shelter. |

Any questions relating to the Foster Program should be directed to me, not to the staff at the shelter. I keep medications and supplies at my home that are available to you. I am always willing to help, advise and support you. I have created this web site as a resource to Foster Program Caregivers. When we talk on the phone about your animals, I may refer you to a portion of this site. Please bookmark this page.
