When you get the call and except the position as caregiver, usually it is not part of your plan for that particular day. You will need to rearrange your day and go to the shelter just as quickly as you can after you get the call. So having the things you will need on hand ahead of time will be very helpful. |

When you agree to pick up a new foster project, Judy will call the shelter and tell them what supplies and equipment you will need. She will also tell them when to expect you so that they can have your foster animals and supplies ready for you when you get there. TO BE SURE YOU GET EVERYTHING YOU NEED, PRINT OUT THE APPROPRIET CHECK LIST AND TAKE IT TO THE SHELTER WITH YOU. REMIND THEM IF SOMETHING HAS BEEN OVERLOOKED. |
